Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Permanent Opportunity
Location: Quarrington, Lincolnshire
Hours: Full-time (4-day week), with flexibility for part-time applicants

We’re working on behalf of a well-established, purpose-built veterinary practice in the Quarrington area that’s looking to welcome an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to their growing team. This is a permanent, full-time role with a four-day working week and a 1 in 4 weekend rota. However, flexibility is available for the right candidate — so if you're looking for part-time hours, this could still be a great fit.

This forward-thinking practice boasts a modern clinical environment with excellent facilities, including multiple consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, digital x-ray, in-house lab, dental and ultrasound equipment, and more. It’s a busy, varied caseload with a supportive team environment, and the practice also supports veterinary training and development, offering a great platform for career growth.

Why consider this role?

  • A modern, well-equipped clinical setting

  • Opportunity to help shape a progressive, growing practice

  • Part of a supportive team that values collaboration and continued learning

  • Involvement in mentoring and supporting vet and nurse development

What’s on offer:

  • Competitive salary with potential quarterly bonus

  • Private medical insurance and health cash plan from day one

  • Generous annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service

  • An additional paid “Day for You” each year

  • Funded CPD (£1,500 + 3 paid days annually), with certificate support available

  • Paid RCVS, BVA, and VDS fees

  • Sabbatical opportunities linked to service

  • Cycle to Work scheme

  • Discounts on veterinary services and products

  • Relocation support and visa sponsorship where applicable

  • Access to internal clinical communities and CPD

What they’re looking for:

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

  • Confident delivering excellent care to patients and clients

  • A strong team player with a collaborative mindset

  • Someone who values clinical standards and contributes to a positive team culture

  • Comfortable mentoring others and sharing best practice

  • Experience in delivering both clinical and commercial results within a practice setting

This is a great opportunity to step into a progressive and growing practice where your clinical skills, ideas, and career goals will be supported. Whether you're ready to take on more responsibility or just want to work in a team that values doing things the right way, this could be the next step for you.
