Our client who we are delighted to be working with is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Nurse to join their dynamic team.
About them:
You’ll join a well-established team of 5 vets, some of whom hold postgraduate certificates in Surgery, Medicine, and Ophthalmology. Their varied caseload allows for significant RVN involvement, including nurse consultations and clinics in weight management, dental care, geriatrics, and post-operative checks. They value the role of their nurses in patient care and are committed to providing a supportive and well-equipped environment.
Role:
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Clinical Nursing Manager to lead and manage a specific area within the practice. Depending on your interests and experience, you could focus on areas such as Education, Surgical, or Medical nursing. You will also be actively involved in general nursing duties, ensuring a balanced approach with approximately 95% clinical work and 5% administrative responsibilities.
What They’re Looking For:
An experienced RVN with a strong interest in leadership and team development.
Ability to manage and motivate a team while maintaining high nursing standards.
Experience or a willingness to work towards a Clinical Coach/Supervisor qualification.
A proactive approach to career progression and professional development.
Salary:
Up to £37,275, depending on experience
