Senior Large Animal Dairy Veterinarian
Permanent, Full-Time | Waipa District, Waikato
Talal at Lloyd & Cowan Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a forward-thinking rural veterinary practice in the Waipa region to recruit an experienced Large Animal Dairy Veterinarian.
This is a standout opportunity for a confident dairy vet who wants more than a traditional clinical role. You’ll be joining a progressive team that is genuinely shaping the future of agri-veterinary services — combining proactive farm consultancy, innovation, and strong farmer partnerships.
If you’re ready to step into a role where your ideas matter, your leadership is valued, and your work has real impact on-farm, this could be your next move.
Why This Role Stands Out
This practice does things differently — and backs it up with action.
You’ll work with an engaged client base who value collaboration and long-term relationships, not just reactive call-outs. Consulting is proactive and structured, with dedicated on-farm conversations focused on herd performance, planning, and progress.
You’ll also be supported to follow your interests, whether that’s leadership, consultancy, business development, or agritech. Innovation is not a buzzword here — it’s part of day-to-day practice.
The Role
This is a full-time senior dairy veterinarian position, with scope to take on leadership responsibilities depending on your experience and interests.
