The role itself
As Head Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll play a key role in both clinical excellence and team leadership. You’ll guide the day-to-day running of the nursing team, lead by example, and help develop individuals in their clinical interests—whether that’s theatre, nurse clinics, or patient care.
You’ll also be involved in:

Supporting and mentoring RVNs, students, and VCAs

Helping shape workflows, standards, and clinical protocols

Contributing to appraisals, training, and quality improvement

Working closely with an experienced veterinary leader who genuinely supports nurse-led development
