Ready to Lead, Inspire, and Truly Shape a Practice?
I’m working with an exceptional opportunity for an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is ready to step into a role where your voice matters, your leadership is encouraged, and your clinical interests can genuinely flourish.
This is a practice at an exciting point of growth, led by an experienced veterinary professional who understands the realities of clinical life and is committed to building something special. They are looking for a senior vet who wants more than “just a job” — someone keen to lead, mentor, and help shape both the team culture and clinical standards for the future.
Why this role stands out
You’ll be joining a close-knit, supportive team of vets, nurses, and client-care professionals who genuinely enjoy working together. There is a strong emphasis on collaboration, shared decision-making, and creating protocols that make day-to-day practice smoother and more rewarding. If you have a special interest you’d like to grow, you’ll be actively supported and encouraged to do so.
The practice itself is well-equipped, modern, and designed to allow you to work cases properly — with the space, tools, and autonomy to deliver high-quality medicine without compromise.
The role
This position would suit an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys taking ownership, supporting junior colleagues, and contributing to the strategic direction of a practice. Full-time hours are ideal, but flexibility is absolutely on the table to create a pattern that works for you. There is a fair weekend rota, sole charge exposure for those confident with it, and importantly, no out-of-hours responsibility.
What’s on offer
The benefits package has been thoughtfully put together to support both your career and your life outside work, including:
-
Competitive salary reflecting your experience and leadership contribution
-
Generous annual leave allowance
-
Private healthcare and pension scheme
-
Substantial CPD support, including full backing for certificates and postgraduate development
-
Paid professional memberships
-
Relocation and visa support where required
-
Access to a wide range of lifestyle and retail discounts
-
A genuinely supportive working environment where wellbeing is prioritised, not just talked about
This is a rare chance to step into a role where you can grow as a leader, influence how a practice evolves, and still enjoy being a hands-on clinician.
