We are working with a long standing independent small animal practice in Greater West London. The ethos is very much; “Modern Healthcare, Traditional Values”. They offer the highest level of patient care combined with good, old-fashioned customer care.

The main surgery is in High Wycombe and there are three satellite branches. They are also in the process of building a brand-new hospital which is due to open in 2023. Th team is currently made up of twelve vets (ten full time and two part time) , eight RVNs, and four trainee nurses (various stages of training).

They have experience of employing, supporting, mentoring and retaining new graduates. And they pride themselves on their fun and supportive environment with a wealth of experience to draw on. No sole charge work is required until confidence is adequate - however, ideally for this role they would like an experienced veterinary surgeon.

The practice has demonstrated their commitment to and experience of supporting certificates. Currently, one vet has completed their RCVS certificate last year, one vet has finished their ESVPS surgery certificate and is part way through completing the CertAVP and another is part way through a ESVPS cardiology certificate. The large and diverse caseload they have in the busy practice is ideal for certificate study. Any particular interests of vets are actively encouraged and supported.
