Equine Veterinary Surgeon – Blandford, Dorset
We at Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to be working with a practice who are seeking for a Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their team of 5 friendly equine vets.
100% equine department within and supported by a large mixed practice (24-hour nursing colleagues; on-site laboratory).
Outpatient clinic available for surgeries (by their vets or visiting specialists) and diagnostic investigations (medical, orthopaedic, etc).
Supportive team and freedom to develop clinical interest areas.
Excellent range of modern equipment: motorised dental burrs; DR radiography; ultrasound machines; gastroscope; shock wave.
They are looking to expand their care and would be interested in hearing from the following:
– part- or full-time veterinary surgeon with some experience
– recent graduate looking for a supportive first practice
A competitive package is available for the right candidate, including: CPD allowance, VDS cover, healthcare, RCVS membership, company car, and a salary in excess of £40k (FTE), based on the level of experience.
In a nutshell, they are looking for a friendly ‘road’ vet who likes working with people and is a good team player. Career progression through CPD towards certification is encouraged and opportunities exist for candidates who wish to progress their career and work towards senior roles/directorship within the practice.
