Equine Veterinary Surgeon – Staffordshire
Full-Time | Permanent | £45,000–£65,000 DOE | Work Vehicle Provided

A fantastic opportunity has come up for an experienced Equine Vet to join a progressive and well-equipped independent practice in Staffordshire. This is a great chance to take on a varied and rewarding role with a strong, community-focused team that values clinical standards and work-life balance.

The Role

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week across 5 days

  • 1 in 4 weeknights and 1 in 4 weekends on-call

  • Permanent contract with long-term development opportunities

  • Work vehicle provided for business use

  • Ambulatory role with a great mix of routine, emergency, and diagnostic work

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Covering a 30-mile radius in a well-established equine client base

  • Pre-purchase exams, vaccinations, lameness workups, ultrasound, and emergency care

  • Utilising excellent portable equipment including:

    • Digital X-ray

    • Gastroscope & respiratory scope

    • Shockwave and laser therapy

    • Each vet has their own motorised dental kit and scanner

  • Working alongside a friendly, collaborative, and experienced team

    • Salary from £45,000 to £65,000 depending on experience
