The Opportunity

You will play a key role in delivering after-hours emergency veterinary care for the region, working on a diverse and rewarding caseload that includes urgent medical cases, emergency surgery and critical patient management.

The hospital provides the equipment, facilities and team support required to practise high-quality emergency medicine, allowing veterinarians to focus on delivering the best possible outcomes for patients.


Your Role

In this position you will:

  • Manage after-hours emergency consultations, surgery and critical care cases

  • Work closely with clients to achieve the best outcomes for their pets

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and in-hospital training

  • Treat a wide range of challenging and rewarding emergency cases

  • Provide emergency support to the wider Bundaberg community
