The successful applicant will either hold or be eligible for an American or European Diploma (or equivalent) in ECC.

About the Hospital:

In-patient care is a priority to the team and includes 24-hour veterinary and nursing cover, with support from a team of Interns. The hospital facilities are of the highest quality, and include on-site Siemens 64-slice CT, Siemens 1.5T MRI, two in-theatre mobile image intensifiers, two digital x-ray rooms, ultrasonography, video endoscopy and an extensive range of other advanced surgical equipment.

About the role:

The team is currently comprising two ECC Specialists and a dedicated nursing team, who provide an outstanding level of care for patients with critical disorders.

Based in the Intensive Care Unit and fully supported by a team of hospital vets and their Specialist multidisciplinary team, the ECC team provides exceptional expertise in critical care and treatment for every patient when they need it most. The team also see direct referrals of emergency and critical cases from across the region.

Their ECC team works with the team of Specialists across 13 disciplines, including internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, imaging, anaesthesia, dermatology, cardiology and orthopaedics to provide the best possible care for each and every patient.

They have some of the best facilities to be found in Specialist multi-disciplinary centres, including onsite MRI and CT. The facilities are complemented by an excellent team of support staff who allow their clinicians to concentrate on their clinical caseload and work in a pleasant, supportive and good-humoured atmosphere.
