Work 20 minutes from the centre of Perth in this amazing opportunity for a Nurse Manager.

We are working with a clinic which has a unique opportunity for a passionate and innovative Nurse Manger to join their team, who is motivated by leading an ECC nursing team including ancillary services, to provide a safe and high standard of patient care and client service. The Nurse Manager will work closely with the Business Manager and Vet Directors on all aspects of running the hospital and assume overall responsibility for the nursing department.

Responsibilites will include:

  • Nurse training and development

  • Managing day to day operations of the hospital

  • Overseeing nursing care and client services

  • Leading and developing the nursing team, and building a positive team culture

  • Workforce planning including rosters and recruitment  

  • Clinical shifts as part of the nursing roster

  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays

  • Inventory management   

  • Administrative tasks

  • Contributing to the continuous development and improvement of the clinic

The Nurse Manager role is an exciting opportunity to join one of Western Australia’s most dynamic ECC hospitals, where there is a genuine drive to provide a supportive and caring work environment. The role will be supported by a highly experienced and collaborative leadership team, with many years of veterinary leadership and management experience.

Skills & Experience:

  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent

  • A passion to lead and motivate a high functioning nursing team

  • Exceptional organisational skills    

  • A keen eye for rostering

  • Leadership and team building skills

  • Ability to work autonomously 

  • Previous experience in leading a team
