Would you like to join a first opinion practice that delivers the best care possible for their clients?

Our client who we are thrilled to be working with are looking for a talented Veterinary Surgeon to work within their dynamic team to help them to continue to strive for excellence.

About them:

They have very easy links for getting into London, with the perks of living in the countryside.

They are a practice who strive to always do the best that they can for their team, their patients, and their clients. They encourage the whole team to come forward with ideas to improve their clinical practice and working environment, so if you want to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, then they could be the practice for you. They are looking for an additional Veterinary Surgeon to support the aims of the practice to continue delivering the highest level of care to their patients and clients.

They have excellent clinical facilities which include a state-of-the-art in-house lab which is supported with Zoetis Imagyst, ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, a range of anaesthetic monitoring machines, plus fully equipped for both rigid and flexible endoscopy.

They pride themselves in performing primarily laparoscopic ovariectomies as standard, as well as offering laparoscopic cat spays, laparoscopic cryptorchid castrates and laparoscopic liver biopsies. They are keen for any new vets to learn this skill.

The Role:

  • Salary starting from £35-47k depending on experience.

  • Full-time – 4 days per week (40 hours: 8.30am-7pm)

  • Participation in 1 in 3 or 4 Saturday morning rota (time returned in lieu)

  • No OOH

Your role will involve all aspects of clinical work, working within a team supported by Clinical Director and Practice Manager who is responsible for the non-clinical aspects of the management role and Head Nurse who provides excellent support.

The successful candidate ideally will have some experience, but they would like to speak to all candidates as you will be joining their team not just their practice.

You would be working with their existing clinical director and 2 other vets and with a strong RVN and support team.

Package also includes:

  • Generous £1750 & 5 days CPD allowance (more if a certificate holder).

  • RCVS & VDS fees paid plus one professional membership of your choice (eg BVA/BSAVA etc)

  • 6.6 weeks paid holiday (including Bank Holidays)

  • Enhanced paternity, maternity, adoption, shared parental leave, and surrogacy pay

  • Cycle to Work scheme

  • Company sick pay

  • Annual pay reviews
