We are pleased to be working with a practice who have a fantastic opportunity for an additional vet to join their team. You will be working alongside a friendly, supportive and experienced team of one vet, one nurse, two student nurses, a vca, three client care advisors and a practice manager.
About:
The practice has been open for over 7 years and we have a large bonded client base which provides a varied case load for their busy first opinion practice. They carry out both routine and non-routine surgical procedures including orthopaedics and most soft tissue surgery; examples include BOAS, ear ablation, thyroidectomy, reconstructive surgery, anal gland removal, cystotomy, and urethrostomy. They also have a dedicated in-house lab, digital x-ray machine and ultrasound machine.
Location:
They are located in Middleton with great transport links to Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Manchester. Heaton Park, Alkrington Nature Reserve and Middleton shopping centre are just a short drive away.
Person Specification:
Their vet has over 12 years of experience, so they welcome applications from recent graduates and experienced vets alike, but you must have a minimum of one years’ experience ideally in both consults and some surgery. Enthusiasm and passion for what you do is essential as well as providing an excellent and comprehensive service to all clients and patients.
