About:
This practice is a three-site group with one main hospital facility. Their hospital is a gold friendly cat practice and our Haworth branch has been awarded silver. They are a nurse training practice and part of the practice standards scheme with outstanding RCVS awards.
All three sites are well-equipped with operating and lab facilities, including individual species wards (with additional exotics facilities at the Hospital and Bingley branch). Their new Bingley premises opened in December 2020 and boasts custom-built facilities including a new dental suite with CR xray.
Their clinical approach and practice ethos is to provide excellent staff, patient and client care through a culture of feedback and improvement with regular clinical and procedural audits involving the whole team.
The team is a good mix of full and part time vets with varied interests; their clinical director has particular expertise in cardiology and critical care and two vets are completing medical and surgical certificates at present. This six-vet team is complimented by their amazingly patient and invaluable receptionists and phenomenal nursing team; including diploma holders in emergency and critical care and exotics and feline behaviour.
What the practice is looking for:
They are looking for a first opinion general practitioner with previous experience in a clinical setting including surgery.
