We at Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to be working with a practice who are looking for a Vet to join their fantastic team. Their ideal candidate is someone with a strong medical or surgical background/interest, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Their team are actively encouraged to study towards a certificate and any special interests will be supported. 


About them:

Located in Derry/Londonderry, the surgery is newly refurbished, bright, spacious, and purpose-built to industry-leading standards with a digital x-ray, in-house lab, ultrasound, and up-to-date monitoring equipment.

They offer a supportive and friendly working environment together with career development opportunities and the practice enjoys fundraising events for local charities.

The team is currently 7 full-time Vets and 2 part-time Vets, supported by 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses and 3 Receptionists - all passionate about providing the very best care for their clients and patients.

Role:

They are looking for a Vet to join their fantastic team. They are very flexible in their approach to recruitment, but their ideal candidate is someone with a strong medical or surgical background/interest, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Their team are actively encouraged to study towards a certificate and any special interests will be supported. 


Rota:

This role is available on either a full time or part time basis. There will be 1 night every 2 or 3 weeks and 1 weekend every 12 or 18 weekends depending on the amount of staff available.

Salary:

​Salary up to £65,000 DOE, Welcome Bonus up to £5,000 plus a Relocation Allowance up to £5,000
