We at Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working with a practice who are looking for a new small animal vet to join their amazing team.

About:

They are a large, sociable team of 10 vets, 10 RVNs and 2 SVNs, plus receptionists and support staff. Excellent facilities including laboratory, in house blood machines, digital x-ray suite, dental x-ray, ultrasound scanner. They have two sites located close to good transport links including the M4 and Chippenham’s mainline railway station. The practice has been established in the community for 50+ years and enjoys a location on the edge of the Cotswolds, close to Bath.

Location

Close to excellent transport links, beautiful countryside and picturesque historic locations including Bath, Lacock and Castle Combe.

The Role

Under the welcoming, friendly supervision of a Clinical Director, they are seeking a talented Vet with a positive, supportive, professional nature to join their friendly and highly skilled team. They have members of the team with interests in imaging, internal medicine, emergency care and dentistry.

The role will enable you to develop a varied caseload, where continuity of care, a positive working culture and high clinical standards are imperative.

Working Hours:

The role would see you work between 2-4 days per week (depending on candidate) and 1 in 4 weekends, with an additional vet consulting. The shifts are a mix of 8-6, 8:30-6:30 and 9-7. The OOHs is covered by a designated OOH service. Split between their main practice in Chippenham, but also some sole charge in our Corsham practice. The role would be a mix of consulting and operating.
