We're recruiting exclusively for a well-established, 5-branch small animal veterinary group on the Isle of Man, and they're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon (around 3 years' experience) to join their team.
This isn't a hard sell on the clinical work alone, plenty of practices can offer that. What's harder to find is an island with some of the lowest personal tax rates in the British Isles, genuinely safe, easy, unhurried living, and a 20-minute commute no matter which branch you're working from. Both of the practice's current Head Vets relocated here themselves, one came back nearly 20 years after seeing practice as a student, the other visited, met their partner, and never left.

The role: Primarily small animal, split across consulting and one day of ops/surgery per week, working across a mix of branches from a small consulting-only site up to a fully equipped main practice with a high emergency caseload. There's scope to pick up some equine work too if that interests you, alongside their growing ambulatory equine service.
They want someone who can work autonomously, this is a team that trusts its vets to get on with it, not one that hand-holds.
