Lloyd & Cowan have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly experienced team in the East Lothian area. The role involves a mix of consulting and surgery within a dynamic first-opinion practice, complemented by in-house and visiting specialists.  

Passionate about providing 24-hour care, the Veterinary Practice ensures that patients receive top-tier care at any time of day while also offering staff the opportunity to engage in emergency and critical care (ECC) work.  

The salary for this role is up to £65,000, negotiable depending on experience. 

The Practice:

·         Purpose-built facility equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, a dental suite, dedicated operating theatres, a prep room, separate cat and dog wards, and spacious consult rooms.

·         The Veterinary Practice also benefits from a visiting Orthopaedic Vet and an ophthalmology referral service. 

The Team:

·         The team is composed of 3 Veterinary Surgeons & 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses.

·         The practice prides itself on a supportive, friendly, and relaxed environment where collaboration and team spirit are key.

·         Continued professional development is actively encouraged and supported. 

Applicant Requirements:

·         RCVS registration.

·         Experienced in consults and surgeries.

·         Must be a friendly, adaptable team player with excellent communication skills.

Salary & benefits:

·         Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE)
