We're working with an established, independently owned veterinary hospital in Co. Meath looking to welcome an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to the team.

No weekends. No OOH.
You can still enjoy a genuinely varied first-opinion caseload, proper clinical freedom and the facilities to work cases up properly, without giving up your Saturdays, Sundays or evenings to do it.

The practice
The companion animal side holds Veterinary Hospital status and is accredited by the Veterinary Council of Ireland, with the wider practice having served the Athboy, Trim and Kells areas for more than 20 years.
You'll have access to:

Fully equipped in-house laboratory
A varied medical and surgical caseload
Experienced veterinary colleagues
Established nursing and administrative support
This is independent practice in the proper sense. You'll have clinical freedom, the ability to investigate and work cases up, and the support of an established team around you.
Who would suit the role?
They're ideally looking for a vet with some experience behind them who is comfortable handling a varied first-opinion small animal caseload.
You might be stronger surgically, prefer medicine, or enjoy a bit of everything. There is room to shape the role around your strengths and interests.
More than anything, they're looking for someone who values autonomy, good client care and being part of a smaller independent team.
