Lloyd & Cowan is a specialist Veterinary Recruitment Consultancy who are delighted to be representing an established Modern Independent Practice based in Swindon area who are actively recruiting a new or recent Graduate Veterinary Surgeon.

The Position

·         Experienced VetGDP Advisor and an accredited training centre for veterinary nurses so understand how valued support is in a new job.

·         Good nurse to Vet ratio and an open working culture where all staff are encouraged to give opinions while assisting with cases.

·         Looking for graduates who are keen to progress in all aspects of medicine, surgery and diagnostics.

·         Tailored graduate programme.

·         No graduate will work alone until they are confident to do so and there will still be support available at all times.

·         Extensive array of equipment which facilitates the practice of first opinion veterinary work to a high standard and will give you ample opportunity to develop your veterinary surgeon skills.

·         We advise developing all aspects or your work but also encourage developing a special interest and will make allowance for time and funding of a certificate.

Renumeration

·         Starting salary of £38,000.00

·         Four day week

·         5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays

·         RCVS and VDS fee’s covered

·         Uniform and CPD allowance

·         In order to expedite your move we can provide accommodation for the first few months and pay an initial bonus of £2000.

·         The role is flexible and could be moulded to suit your interests, whether they lie in the consulting room, operating theatre, or in 'hospital' inpatient care (or a mix of all). Niche interests can be supported and encouraged.
