  • Established/ Independent Practice

  • 4 day week/ 1:3 Saturday morning rota 8:30-12noon

  • Salary from £45k to £64k (DOE)

  • 20 minute consultation slots/ No OOH

Lloyd & Cowan is a specialist Veterinary Recruitment Consultancy who are delighted to be representing an established Modern Independent Practice based in the surrounding area of Bedford who are actively recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon.

The Practice:

  • The Practice opened over 15 years ago and privately owned with a settled team of 4 Vets and loyal support team of Veterinary Nurses & Receptionists.

  • The practice is PSS and Cat Friendly accredited

  • The Owner and Lead Vet is an Advanced Practitioner in Diagnostic Imaging with a special interest in surgery and is happy to mentor and support.

Equipment:

  • Exceptionally well equipped, diagnostic orientated practice. We have a full Idexx in-house lab, ultrasound, Laparoscopic surgery, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, DR dental radiography, CR radiography and everything else you can think of or desire!

The Role:

  • Seeking Veterinary Surgeon who is interested in practicing good medicine, and who understands that treating pets involves looking after people too, and who wants to work in a friendly, supportive team while maintaining a good work/life balance.

  • Confident to do routine surgery.
