The Practice:
We are delighted to be representing family-run independent small animal practice is looking for a talented Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join the team in North Walsham, Norfolk.
The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including separate cat, dog, and exotic waiting areas and wards, air conditioning, and a fresh gas ventilation system throughout. It is also an ISFM ‘Gold Feline Friendly’ practice, a RWAF Gold Rabbit Friendly clinic, and a Dog-friendly accredited clinic.
The clinic has a varied and interesting caseload, dogs, cats, and exotics. There is always support available for the exotic caseload, and in-house training is provided if needed.
The practice has a skilled and experienced clinical team of Vets and RVN’s.
The practice is also committed to career development and encourages the team to further their knowledge and keep up with new techniques.
The Position:
The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience as a Vet.
The full-time vets work a 4-day week, with shifts from 8.30am to 7 pm.
There are three types of shifts - ops shift, consult shift, and long ops shift.
The weekend rota is 1:4, with a half day on the Friday before and the Monday following the weekend worked.
The Package:
The package for this role includes a salary of £40,000 to £70,000
Five weeks holiday plus bank holidays (increasing to six weeks after the first year)
