Veterinary Surgeon – Medicine / Imaging Bias
North West London | Independent Advanced GP Clinic
Up to £60,000 DOE | Certificate Support | Advanced Diagnostics
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive and growing independent clinic in North West London, following internal progression within the team.
This role would particularly suit a vet with a strong interest in Internal Medicine or Diagnostic Imaging who is looking to continue developing within a modern, highly supportive clinical environment with access to excellent facilities and an interesting caseload.
The clinic has built a strong local reputation for delivering high quality patient care and continuity of care, while also creating a genuinely collaborative and supportive culture within the team. They are keen to speak with strong all round GP vets who are confident with routine consults and surgery, but who also have a particular passion for medicine, imaging or diagnostics longer term.
Facilities within the practice are impressive and continue to expand, currently including:
• Stortz Endoscopy & Arthroscopy
• Ultrasound
• Digital direct radiography
• IDEXX in house laboratory equipment
• Dedicated surgical facilities
The clinic is also continuing to invest heavily into diagnostics and advanced services, with plans already underway for the installation of a CT scanner and the development of a dedicated physiotherapy suite in the near future.
The caseload offers a really nice balance between first opinion GP work and more advanced medical and imaging cases, giving vets the opportunity to work cases up properly and continue building their confidence clinically.
You would be joining a friendly and experienced team, alongside a supportive nursing and wider clinical team, all within a practice that genuinely values collaboration, progression and clinical standards.
The rota offers a strong work life balance with:
- Flexible 40 hour week
- 1 in 4 half weekends
- No out of hours
The package includes:
- • Salary from £45,000–£60,000 DOE
- £1,500 CPD allowance & CPD leave
- Certificate support
- RCVS, BVA & VDS fees paid
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Staff discounts
- Genuine progression opportunities within a growing independent clinic
This could be a brilliant opportunity for a vet wanting to step into a modern, progressive environment with increasing access to advanced diagnostics and strong long term development opportunities.
