We at Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to be working with a practice who have a great opportunity for an experienced, small animal Vet to join their close-knit and supportive team. You will primarily work at our Alton practice (you may have to occasionally cover a shift at one of the other branches) giving you the opportunity to work-up your cases and have a varied workload. They believe that this aids in fostering a bonded relationship with their clients.

Rota:

They would welcome both full or part time applicants. Typically, the hours for this role are 40 hours over 5 days per week, Monday – Friday, plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. There are no out of hours associated with this role however they occasionally look after their own in-patients - treatment checks which are optional and paid for.

They are a very well-established, 100% small animal RCVS accredited practice located right next to the beautiful South Downs National Park, less than 1 hour from the coast, access to London via train and easy access to Gatwick and Heathrow airport. They have three surgeries serving the communities around Alton, Bordon and Grayshott. They continually strive for excellence in management, medicine, surgery, diagnostic and service to enrich and lengthen the special relationship between people and their pets.

They have a supportive and committed team of 1 Clinical Director, 6 Vets, 5 RVNs, 4 SVNs and 7 Receptionists in their 3 well-equipped surgeries on the Hampshire/Surrey border. They also have a visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon for the more challenging surgical cases.

Salary:

​Up to £75,000 DOE plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus and up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance
