What if your 4-day week actually meant four days, weekends included?
We’re working with a genuinely independent, award-winning small animal practice in South Wales, looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them at a particularly exciting time.
The rota alone is worth a look. You’ll generally work just 16 shifts per month, with weekends on a 1:6 rota. When you work the full weekend, those days count towards your four-day week, meaning you only work two weekdays that week.
There’s also no overnight on-call or OOH.
Why this one stands out
This is a genuinely independent practice where the team have real input into how things develop, clinical interests are supported and, for the right vet, there is potential for future shareholding or ownership.
They’re also investing heavily in the future, with a major expansion creating a new surgical hub, dedicated dental suite with dental X-ray, additional consulting rooms and upgraded patient facilities.
They’d particularly love to meet a confident GP vet with a surgical interest. A certificate would be welcomed, but strong surgical experience and an appetite to develop would be equally attractive. There’s scope for advanced soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics and to grow your theatre caseload as the service develops.
