If you are looking for an exciting new role and the opportunity to grow your career, then the practice that we are working closely with have the perfect role for you.

Ideal candidate:
This is an ideal role for a vet who is either ready to take the next step in their career into a lead role, or who are already in a similar position and are wanting a new challenge and to gain more experience.
They would also consider a new graduate veterinary surgeon who would be enrolled onto their 2 year new graduate programme - alongside the programme you will have weekly meetings with their JVP/senior vet to help guide and support you.
You will be working alongside Partners and Ignacio and a friendly team of 5 Vets, 7 Nurses, two student nurses and 2 Animal Care Assistants.

About:
They offer free onsite parking, a train station within a couple of minutes' walk, easy access to the M1 and just 40 minutes from both East Midlands Airport and Birmingham Airport.
They are a small animal practice with a high caseload of exotics. The practice is modern and spacious with state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, and ultrasound and multi parameter.
If experienced you will ideally be confident with all routine surgical and medical cases and enjoy variety within your role. An interest in orthopaedics would be advantageous, but not essential. You should be keen to take on a supportive role and demonstrate key skills including building strong relationships with clients, patients and the wider team.

Working hours:
This is a full time position, 40 hours per week, and includes weekends on a rota basis and no OOHs. Weekends are 1 in 3 Saturday and Sunday

What they can offer:
•    Bank holiday rota is shared equally 3/4 per year
•    Salary starts at £31,000 for new graduates - this is reviewed annually
•    Salary for an experienced vet in dependant on experience - this can be discussed on interview

•    £1,500 CPD allowance - CPD is encouraged
