"Caring, informative and professional"
"They really care about animals and go that extra mile for both you and your pets"
"The best vets I have taken my dogs to"
Their clients love them, and they think you will too!

If you are a Vet looking to have some extra free time, or are considering a change of scenery with flexibility, and being part of a supportive team is important to you, then our client has the perfect opportunity for you.

About:
They are a hardworking but fun team of 3 vets (with 30+, 13 and 2 years experience), 3 experienced nurses and 4 Receptionists. They put emphasise on working as a team and truly supporting each other. They have a practice ethos of the animals always coming first so they don’t push you for any financial targets. All non-routine appointments are 20 minutes and routine appointments are 15 minutes. They have 1 hour lunch breaks that are fully paid as they know emergencies occasionally happen (although this is rare!). Everyone is paid for 30minutes after the surgery officially closes so they leave on time or early!

They know that being a vet has to fit around all the other parts of life that are important, so they are open to you working shifts that truly suit you. Would you prefer full or part time? Only certain days of the week? Longer or short days?

They have a loyal client base and a varied caseload…no two days are the same here! The surgery is built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound and in-house lab.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal vet to join them will be personable, have good clinical skills, be experienced with consultations and routine procedures, and have excellent communication skills. Communication is very important to them, being able to build a rapport with their clients is an essential skill, as is the ability to support their colleagues. They work best by discussing cases, sharing opinions and expertise and supporting each other in practice.

By joining them, they can offer you:
•    Career development opportunities
•    Excellent salary (35-65k depending on experience)
•    5.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays, and after 2 years you get an extra week
•    Paid professional memberships (RCVS, VDA, BVA)
•    Funded Visa Sponsorship
•    Contributory pension scheme
•    CPD allowance– we are happy to fund and support certificates (one of our vets is currently working towards a certificate in small animal medicine)
•    Free on-site parking
•    Exclusive company discounts and rewards
