You will have full clinical freedom and be joining their dedicated team of 3 RVN's, 1 SVN and 2 VCA’s and 1 client care advisor, as well as an RVN, who is 20 years qualified and a JVP for 13 years.  They additionally have 1 new graduate Veterinary Surgeon and 2 Part-time Veterinary Surgeons who make up their team.
Their well-equipped surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and you'll get use of their surgery equipment including ultrasound, digital x-ray, in-house lab. They see an even split of dogs and cats and 10% of their cases are exotics.

Ideal candidate:
You will be a dynamic and proactive Veterinary Surgeon with solid medical and surgical skills. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and enjoy the variety the role will bring. They are looking for a Vet with innovative ideas, passion and energy. You will also be required to mentor their new graduate who has recently joined the team.

If you are keen to develop within your own area of interest, they offer a generous CPD allowance and encourage this.

Working hours:
This is a full time position 40 hours per week, no on calls or OOH and with weekends on a rota but only Saturdays until 1:30pm. 

They are based close to the peak district which is ideal for someone who likes the outdoor lifestyle. Good links to M1 for travel up and down the country and only 35 minutes from East Midlands airport.
