An opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a long-standing team in Rochdale. Offering a salary of up to £65,000 DOE, up to £5,000 welcome bonus, up to £3,000 relocation allowance, this is a fantastic opportunity for Veterinary Surgeon looking to further their careers in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical and surgical care for animals, including diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries
Perform routine check-ups and vaccinations
Collaborate with an experienced veterinary team, nursing team, and support team
Foster a collaborative environment and share knowledge to build confidence and encourage clinical freedom
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Participate in ongoing professional development and training
Work Schedule:
Flexible working hours, with options for reduced working days/hours
No out-of-hours or bank holidays required
Optional Saturday mornings
Team and Practice Details:
Very experienced Team of Vets with over 30 years combined experience
Team includes feline medicine & surgery specialist
Blend of consults and surgery, with CPD actively supported and encouraged
Highly skilled RVNs independently running nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures
Easy access to Manchester, Manchester Airport, Huddersfield, and Leeds
Well-equipped practice with in-house lab, digital x-ray, and ultrasound
Surgery theatre kitted out for major, minor, soft tissue, and orthopedic surgery
