Actively recruiting Official Veterinarian for export role based in York and there will not be out of hours, bank holiday or weekend work.
The work is Monday to Friday: 8.00- 8.30 until 16.30 latest (some days, early finish around 3pm).
Purpose of Job:
· The job holder will be responsible for working with exporters of products of animal origin and occasionally exports of hatching eggs/day old chicks.
· To lead the exports within poultry health services and be the main point of contact for exports.
· Ensuring that all the other veterinarians are up to date with the changes in legislation and coordinate the export rota.
