Veterinary Surgeon - Exotics Interest
South Dublin Coastal Area
An opportunity has opened for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, modern clinic within a respected independent group. Based in a purpose-built practice, this role would suit someone with a strong interest in both small animal and exotics, looking to work in a progressive and well-supported environment.
The clinic is fully equipped with four consult rooms, separate wards for dogs, cats, and exotics, along with in-house diagnostics including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and a full lab setup. The caseload offers a great mix of small animal work with a growing and well-supported exotics caseload, making it ideal for someone keen to further develop in this area.
They are looking for a vet with a minimum of 2 years’ experience who is confident with routine surgery and comfortable managing cases, while still enjoying the support of an experienced and collaborative team. A genuine interest in exotics is highly desirable and will be encouraged and developed.
The practice is part of a wider network, offering access to experienced colleagues, shared knowledge, and ongoing support. There is a strong focus on development, with a generous CPD allowance and real opportunities to progress, including support for further certifications.
Located in a highly accessible coastal area just off a major route, the clinic benefits from excellent transport links and free on-site parking.
Salary is up to €65,000 depending on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including paid annual leave, CPD support, and additional perks.
A great opportunity for someone keen to build their career in both small animal and exotics within a modern, forward-thinking practice. Get in touch for more details by sending your CV to Sophie via the link or email directly to sophie@lloydandcowan.com.
