Veterinary Surgeon- Exotics Caseload/ Accommodation

We are representing an esteemed veterinary clinic, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team in Berkhamsted. This is a full-time position with the option of long-term accommodation.

Clinic boasts a substantial exotic case load, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth and learning under the guidance of Head Vet, who holds an exotic certificate.

About the Practice

·         Located in a picturesque area, well-established clinic with a high percentage of insured clients who prioritize thorough case work-ups.

·         Surgery days are guaranteed each week, providing a consistent and fulfilling work experience.

·         State-of-the-art facilities, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, lab, cautery, and a dedicated nursing team that is highly engaged and fully utilized.

·         Encourage a collaborative and effective team environment to ensure the well-being of both staff and patients.

Work-Life Balance:

·         Understand the importance of work-life balance. Negotiable rota offers flexibility with either a 4 or 4.5/4 day alternating week schedule.

·         A 1:3 Saturday rota at the practice.

·         Lunch and finish times are protected, and any rare cases of overtime are accrued and compensated as Time Off In Lieu (TOIL).

·         Prioritise phone call/admin time each day to ensure staff almost always finish on time.
