Lloyd & Cowan is a Specialist Veterinary Recruitment Consultancy, and we are working closely with a Modern 24-hour Veterinary Hospital in the Cardiff area, who are seeking to appoint a ECC Night Veterinary Surgeon.

Exciting opportunity to join rapidly growing team to expand current ECC care. Working on a rolling rota of 7 nights on & 7 nights off, allowing the successful candidate to really maximise a satisfying clinical role with a great quality of life by striking a healthy work-life balance.

Job duties & information:

  • Aim to achieve a seamless 24/7 emergency, referral and emergency cases throughout the night.

  • The role would be perfect for vets with a specific interest in ECC work, with the opportunity for certificate study if desired.

  • The hospital has a CT scanner, advanced ultrasonography equipment, endosurgery facilities, extensive blood analysis equipment, dedicated orthopaedic, soft tissue and exotic theatres, as well as a dedicated dental suite.

  • Responsible for emergency animal care that will include consults and emergency surgeries.

Remuneration:

  • £97K Salary – dependant on experience/role

  • Up to 6.6 weeks
