There's a frustrating point in GP practice where you know a case could go further, but the equipment, time or expertise simply isn't there.
This independent Somerset practice has deliberately built its hospital around changing that.
You'll have a brand-new CT scanner, two operating theatres, dedicated imaging facilities, endoscopy, dental X-ray and separate hospitalisation areas.
More importantly, there's clinical experience behind the equipment.
The 13-vet team includes certificate holders in:
- Surgery
- ECC
- Cardiology
- Dermatology
- Feline medicine
This isn't a referral position.
They're looking for a strong GP Vet who enjoys consultations, medicine, surgery and the unpredictability of first-opinion practice, but wants the ability to investigate and manage more cases in-house.
You can remain a great all-rounder or develop your own clinical interest.
If you want to pursue a certificate, they'll fully fund it, and rather than restricting everyone to a standard CPD allowance, there is no fixed CPD budget.
Rota & package
Salary up to £70,000 DOE
- 40 hours across 4 days
- No night duties
- 1:5 weekends
- 5 weeks' holiday + bank holidays
- Certificates fully funded
- RCVS + VDS paid
- No fixed CPD budget
You'll also be joining an independent, family-run practice that continues to invest, with further expansion already planned.
