Lloyd & Cowan have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join a growing Veterinary Practice in Falkirk. This role is perfect for a veterinary professional looking to advance their career in a supportive and dynamic environment. 


The Rota

·         Flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours to suit individual needs

·         Full-time rota: 40 hours over four days per week

·         Mix of two operating shifts and two consulting shifts per week

·         Part-time options available for the right candidate

·         Weekends on a rota basis with no out-of-hours duties

·         No on-call requirement 


The Practice

·         Busy small animal and exotic Practice with well-established Veterinary Team

·         Varied and interesting first opinion and referral caseload, particularly with exotic animal patients 


The Team

·         8 Veterinary Surgeons (including 2 Senior Vets)

·         9 Nurses

·         4 Receptionists

·         Practice Manager

·         Team members hold certificates in ophthalmology, dermatology, surgery, and dentistry

·         Support for team members to develop their own areas of interest and skills 


Salary & Benefits

·         Salary: Up to £58,000 (DOE)

·         Relocation Allowance up to £5,000, plus Welcome Bonus up to £5,000

·         6.8 weeks of annual leave

·         CPD allowance with 40 hours paid pro rata

·         BVA membership/ VDS cover/ RCVS fees
