We at Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to be working with a practice who have an exciting opening for a Veterinary Surgeon at their team.
Location:
This practice is an exceptionally well equipped clinic in a leafy location, close to Gatwick airport and with good transport links to London.
Ideal Candidate:
The suitable candidate will be a driven, dynamic, ambitious individual with exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a busy practice environment. They are looking for someone with at least 2 years of UK (or UK equivalent) small animal experience who practices to a very high standard using an evidence based approach. Although surrounded by experienced vets, the successful candidate will be expected to be confident in all aspects of routine surgery, first opinion consulting and the management of emergency cases.
Role:
There is a good balance of clinical expertise within the team, they have 2 very experienced branch partners and an amazing nursing team.
A strong interest in either medicine or surgery is ideal and clinical development will be supported and encouraged.
The role allows for a good work life balance by working 40 hours a week over 4 days. You will also be part of a 1:6 full weekend rota.
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary of up to £55,000, depending on experience
£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days’ CPD leave per annum or pro rata and in-house CPD training
5 weeks annual leave, plus bank holidays
VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

You must be a registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS.
The Branch:
This practice is managed by 2 very experienced vets, and the small and friendly team take pride in offering the highest standard of veterinary care to patients and clients in Brockham and its surrounding areas, Dorking, Redhill and Reigate. The successful candidate will be joining a team of 2 part time vets with strong case load, both in medicine and surgery.
