Lloyd & Cowan is a specialist Veterinary Recruitment Consultancy who are delighted to be representing a NEW state of the art Veterinary Practice based in Essex area who are actively recruiting an experienced Veterinary Surgeon.

The practice has state of the art equipment along with multiple consult rooms & dedicated operating theatres including x-ray & diagnostic suites as well as CT scanner and extended cat and dog wards.

Can offer you the environment, caseload and equipment needed to utilise the skills you’ve gained to date whilst also giving you plenty of opportunity to develop further. Committed to supporting continuing postgraduate qualifications and CPD for training in your areas of interest.

The ideal candidate will have good small animal experience, be comfortable with sole charge and relish being part of a team. You will be keen to work towards the same practice vision of providing gold standard pet care to the local community and your patients.

The Position

  • Seeking to recruit experienced Small Animal Vet to join the team.

  • Successful Small Animal Vet must be passionate about animal welfare and willing to carry out primary care to a very high level.

  • An ability to strive for improvement in medical and surgical care of pets, manage and encourage communication with clients to enable this, while maintaining high levels of CPD to accomplish this.


  • Competitive salary up to £80,000 (DOE)
