Veterinary Surgeon | West Midlands | Up to £60,000

A well-established small animal practice in the West Midlands is looking to welcome an experienced Veterinary Surgeon into a genuinely supportive and forward-thinking team.

The Role
This is a varied first opinion role with a strong balance of consults and surgery, offering a busy and engaging caseload that will keep you clinically stimulated. You’ll have the opportunity to work cases up thoroughly, with the clinical freedom to follow them through and develop your own interests.

The Team
You’ll be joining a close-knit, experienced team of 4 FT Vets and nursing team who work well together and genuinely enjoy what they do. There’s a strong nursing team in place, including nurse-led consultations, allowing you to focus on clinical work while still delivering a high standard of patient care.

The culture is one where everyone pulls together, making it a positive and enjoyable place to work day to day.

Growth & Investment
The practice has recently come under new ownership within a wider veterinary network, bringing fresh investment into the clinic, team, and equipment. This is an exciting time to join, with a real focus on development, improving facilities, and growing the team.

It offers the stability of an established practice with the added benefit of ongoing investment and progression opportunities.

Work Life Balance
Structured rota with a 3 or 4 day week
Light weekend commitment
No out of hours or bank holidays

Requirements

  • Must be RCVS registered or obtaining it

  • At least 2 years clinical experience post graduation

Package

  • Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience

  • CPD and development actively supported

  • Additional benefits in line with a well-run, progressive practice

This would suit a vet looking for a role where they can enjoy a strong caseload, be part of a genuinely supportive team, and join a practice that is continuing to grow and invest.

If this sounds of interest, feel free to reach out for a confidential chat and I can share a bit more detail.

If it’s not quite the right fit but you’re open to other opportunities, I’m working on a range of roles and happy to point you in the right direction. Equally, if you know someone who might be a good fit, feel free to pass this on or let me know. If able to help you would be entitled to a referral reward.
