Lloyd & Cowan are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon comfortable with sole charge and routine medical and surgical cases commonly encountered in general practice to join the team in a purpose-built standalone clinic in the vibrant city of Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
With Leeds just 20 minutes away, the stunning Yorkshire Dales on your doorstep, and easy access to beaches and countryside, this is an ideal location for work-life balance.
Conveniently positioned near the M1 and M62 junctions, the area offers excellent connectivity for exploring the rest of the country, including just 2 hours by train to London or 3.5 hours to Edinburgh.
The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a corneal diamond burr, high-spec ultrasound, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical equipment, and endosurgery equipment for laparoscopic procedures.
The Role
This is a flexible position with hours tailored to suit your lifestyle, whether full-time or part-time. There are no out-of-hours or late-night shifts, and Saturday mornings are worked on a fair rota basis.
