An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a leading, well-established veterinary hospital in Northwest London. About the Practice
The hospital is a key hub within a large, well-respected veterinary group and has recently received recognition as one of the top practices in the capital. It's equipped to an exceptionally high standard, including advanced diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT), endoscopy, arthroscopy, digital radiography, and more. The site handles a diverse caseload in neurology, medicine, surgery, and emergency care, offering you the chance to be truly hands-on with fascinating and rewarding clinical cases.
As a 24-hour site, the hospital also supports surrounding practices across the region, functioning as both a local and referral-level facility.
What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering exceptional care and clinical support across inpatient wards or surgical procedures

Taking responsibility for nurse-led consults and Schedule 3 procedures

Managing admissions, discharges, and patient monitoring

Supporting surgeries and medical procedures alongside a multidisciplinary team

Coaching and mentoring student nurses (if applicable)

Ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Participating in team briefings and practice coordination
About You

RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with previous hospital or referral practice experience

Confident in inpatient care, surgery, or both

Comfortable working as part of a large, skilled team

A natural collaborator with the ability to coach and mentor colleagues

Keen to develop your career, with post-graduate qualifications welcomed (but not essential)
Schedule
You’ll enjoy a well-structured rota of 4 working days per week, with weekend duties on a fair and infrequent rotation (1 in 6).
