This is an opportunity to take the reins of one of London's busiest and most established 24-hour veterinary hospitals. We're looking for an experienced operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing structure, stability and support to large, multidisciplinary teams.
This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day. The successful candidate will be highly visible within the hospital, building relationships with the team, supporting managers, driving performance and helping create an environment where both people and patients can thrive.
The Opportunity
You'll take full operational responsibility for a large veterinary hospital, working closely with senior leadership to oversee day-to-day operations, team performance, client experience and commercial success.
The hospital is supported by an experienced management structure, including a dedicated Deputy Manager and Hospital Administrator, allowing you to focus on leadership, team development and operational excellence.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One minute you may be supporting a team member through a challenging situation, the next you're reviewing performance metrics, managing recruitment, or working alongside senior stakeholders to improve hospital processes and standards.
What We're Looking For
- Previous management experience within a veterinary hospital, referral centre or large veterinary practice
- Proven ability to lead and develop large teams
- Strong operational and commercial awareness
- Experience managing budgets and P&L performance
- Confident working in a busy, fast-moving environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused leadership style
- Passion for team engagement, culture and staff development

- Salary up to £65,000
