They are looking for a Clinical Confident Veterinary Surgeon to join their Team as a Veterinary Advisor within Ireland.

Offering a Home Based Role, with expectations of regular national travelling throughout the island of Ireland, covering North & South. (3 days per week, but there will be flexibility and own diary management)

The Role:

This role will be Ruminant focused, but a Mixed Background knowledge would also be beneficial. This opportunity would suit someone who is clinically adept looking for a change, but also wanting to utilise their knowledge and be imbedded within the livestock industry throughout Ireland. Also the likes of attending Events, Conferences, Webinars within Ireland on behalf of the company.

You will be reporting to the Technical Services Manager and liaising closely with the Sales & Marketing Team. The role will have 3 main aspects to it;

  1. The Commercially Focused Aspect - working with the sales team on implementation of campaigns, events & strategies for educational material.

  2. Purely Technical Component - this is where having the clinical knowledge within Ruminant work will come in. Potential onsite visits to farms, answering direct queries or calls.

  3. Marketing - Working closely with the marketing team to design projects and advertising campaigns, drives.

There is potential development of Leadership within the role as you will train the sales team to ensure their clinical knowledge is at a good level and be the main point of contact for Ireland.

The Ideal Applicant:

  • You must have a Veterinary Medicine Degree and 3-10+ years experience either in Large Animal or Mixed Practices, with a good clinical understanding.

  • As well as the clinical adept side of things, confidence in the commercial aspect of things is also necessary. You must be able to confidentially communicate well with customers, good relationship building skills & the ability to enthusiastically share your knowledge and input.

  • Organizational and task management is key for success as you will managing your own diary whilst being responsive to clients & other teams within the business.

  • This role would ideally suit a Experienced Vet who is looking for a change within the industry, but still passionate about their clinical knowledge and sharing it. Also a Vet who is interested in a Better work life balance looking for a change but doesn't want to waste all their years of clinical accomplishments.
