If your next veterinary role needs to give you a better balance outside work without compromising on what you can do clinically, this is worth a look.
We’re recruiting a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established veterinary hospital in Merseyside, offering a 4-day working week and just 1:8 weekends.
That means seven completely free weekends in every eight, with no additional Saturdays and a dedicated night team providing the hospital’s usual OOH and inpatient cover.
The role itself is split approximately 50/50 between the main hospital and one of the local branches, giving you a mixture of first-opinion continuity and exposure to a much broader hospital caseload.
You’ll have access to an experienced team, including certificate holders and advanced practitioners across medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, imaging, dermatology and oncology.
The hospital is exceptionally well equipped with 64-slice CT, 1.5T MRI, laparoscopy, ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, scopes and CO2 laser, so there is very little that needs to be referred elsewhere.
