Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are a specialist veterinary recruitment team and therefore we are working with a veterinary practice in Derbyshire, who are seeking to appoint a Theatre Nurse, in the near future. The practice strives to deliver world class patient care and is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment throughout.

Key abilities:

  • Supporting the theatre team by delivering and monitoring prescribed sedation

  • Preparing each theatre for surgery with the correct equipment and preparing the patient

  • Take part in in-depth training, provided by the practice

Shift patterns:

  • This role is full time of 4 days per week (38 hours p/w)

  • You will also be required to take part in the weekend rota of 1:6, with 2 days off in lieu

Requirements:

  • Registered with the RCVS, or meet the requirements

  • Display excellent communication skills

  • Have previous referral and on-call experience

  • Knowledge in both anaesthesia and theatre practice
