Lloyd & Cowan is a specialist Veterinary Recruitment Consultancy who are delighted to be representing an established Modern Veterinary Practice based in Portsmouth area who are actively recruiting an experienced Veterinary Surgeon.
The Position
Seeking to recruit experienced Small Animal Vet to join the team.
Successful Small Animal Vet must be passionate about animal welfare and willing to carry out primary care to a very high level.
An ability to strive for improvement in medical and surgical care of pets, manage and encourage communication with clients to enable this, while maintaining high levels of CPD to accomplish this.
Large team of staff includes many experienced and Supportive Managers, Nurses and Client Care Members to make your day run efficiently, smoothly within an `open culture. `
Experienced Vets are expected to be competent in soft tissue surgery and basic orthopaedics, have a good competency in all aspects of diagnostic imaging this will be radiology abdominal and thoracic ultrasound also microscopy of skin, haematology, and aspirate cytology.
Would also like experience in rigid and flexible endoscopy [or a willingness to learn]. Some experience in PRP, laser and physiotherapy would be welcome.
Renumeration
Up to £70,000.00 salary (DOE)
5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
RCVS and VDS fee’s covered
