A long-standing mixed animal practice in beautiful Creston, BC, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Veterinarian to step into a Medical Director role. This is an incredible opportunity to combine leadership, community connection, and diverse caseloads—all in a truly breathtaking setting.
With nearly 50 years of service in the region, this well-established hospital serves a broad client base with a caseload that is approximately 70% small animal and 30% large animal (primarily dairy, with some beef and equine). The area also presents strong potential to grow the equine side of the practice, making it an excellent opportunity for someone with equine interests.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a confident, motivated DVM with:

Strong leadership skills and an interest in mentoring

A collaborative mindset and a passion for high-quality care

A background in either small animal, equine, or mixed practice

Prior Medical Director experience (preferred), or a senior DVM ready to step into leadership

The Practice:

3 full-time Associates, 1 part-time DVM, and seasonal traveling support

Supported by a highly skilled team of RVTs and support staff

Surgical suites for both small and large animals
