The Role:
We are looking for an Experienced Small Animal Vet to join this exceptional Team of Vets, Nurses & Support Staff.
There are a range of different contracts and hours available, to fully suit your preferences and needs! We would consider a Full Time/Part Time permanent position or also have casual hours available.
Your roster will include both surgery and consulting shifts, however if you prefer consulting with no surgery, that's fine too!
About the Practice:
The practice was founded back in 1974, and after 20 years of hard work they have grown the Practice from a one man, one phone business into a multi-person small and large animal Practice!
You will have everything at your fingertips to diagnose & work-up your cases in our fully equipped small animal hospital. Digital xrays inc dental, ultrasound, surgical theatre, intensive care, in-house lab, bair huggers...the list goes on!
Positions in the practice are tightly held, and the team really do make a difference in the lives of their loving, close-knit family community. Their clients are dedicated & willingly follow your patient care plan.
The Caseload:
The caseload is broad and varied - they really do see it all! From the simple to the complex - medical and surgical. There is a normal mix of household pet problems through the consult door, as well as plenty of emergencies common to country living (ticks, snake bites, heat stress, hit by car etc)
The Ideal Candidate:
You'll need a solid base in both medicine & surgery (we already have orthopaedic surgeons so you don't need to be able to do that).
You must be able to work well within a team, with the ability to work independently and as a team when required.
