We have a rare opportunity for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join a great team based in County Waterford!
Your main duties would include surgical and clinical rotations, radiology, ultrasound and laboratory medicine. The working week will be 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with every 3rd Saturday morning 9am-1pm. The Out of Hours rota is 1 in 3 nights per week and 1 weekend in 3.
This is a full-time, permanent position.

The successful applicant will complement the veterinary team in their clinical and surgical medicine, bringing new knowledge and methods to the table as well as learning from the many years of experience that we have at the Pet Hospital. Salary for this role is up to €70,000 depending on experience.
About the Team:
They are a registered Veterinary Hospital located in the heart of Waterford City within half an hour’s drive of some of the most beautiful beaches and mountain landscapes in Ireland.
The Hospital is well equipped with digital x ray, gas anaesthesia, ultrasound, full in-house laboratory, ECG, endoscopy, dental and well stocked pharmacy. Their day is divided between surgery and clinic with a break from 1 to 2 for lunch.
They are passionate about animal care and their skilled team of veterinary surgeons and nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Founded in 1998 the clinic is a leading small animal veterinary hospital based in Waterford, providing the highest quality of animal care to pets across the south east for over 23 years.
They have a team of 2 vets, 2 nurses and are hoping to expand this team to cope with the ever-increasing demand for veterinary services in Waterford city. Supporting this medical team, they also have 2 receptionists and a practice manager.
