We're working with a modern, progressive small animal hospital in Hong Kong that is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident clinician who enjoys challenging cases, advanced diagnostics, and surgery while working alongside a supportive, collaborative team.
The practice combines high-quality Western veterinary medicine with an integrated approach to patient care, offering advanced medical and surgical services alongside Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Patients benefit from separate dog and cat wards, isolation facilities, intensive care, and a strong emphasis on providing compassionate, holistic care.
The Role
We're looking for a veterinary surgeon with 5+ years' experience who is confident managing a varied first-opinion caseload and has a genuine interest in developing advanced clinical skills.
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience performing Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO)
- Additional orthopaedic surgical experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong general practice medicine and surgery skills
- Confidence performing comprehensive abdominal ultrasound examinations
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach
The Practice
You'll be joining a friendly team of experienced veterinarians in a well-equipped hospital that values continuous learning and high clinical standards. The current veterinary team consists of three full-time veterinarians plus additional clinical support, with rota arrangements discussed collaboratively to ensure flexibility.
Working Pattern
- Early Shift: 9:00am – 7:00pm
- Late Shift: 2:00pm – 12:00am
- Flexible rota with a collaborative approach to scheduling
Salary & Benefits
- HKD $80,000–100,000 per month (dependent on experience)
