Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon | Co. Meath
€45,000 to €65,000 DOE | NO WEEKENDS | NO OOH | Independent Practice
I’m working with a well-established independent veterinary practice in Co. Meath that is looking to add a dedicated Small Animal Vet to its team.
This is a small animal only position with no weekends and no out-of-hours/on-call requirement, which makes it a particularly attractive option for someone wanting a better work-life balance without stepping away from a good clinical caseload.
You’d be joining a very settled team. Two of the vets have been with the practice for 13 and 28 years respectively, while the senior veterinary nurse has been there for 24 years. They’ve also recently added a second nurse, alongside two supportive receptionists.
The practice offers a varied first-opinion small animal caseload with digital X-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory facilities.
What’s on offer:
-
€45,000 to €65,000 depending on experience
-
No weekends
-
No OOH or on-call
-
Small animal only
-
Full-time or part-time considered
-
Expenses and mileage paid on top
-
Experienced, long-standing veterinary team
-
Strong nursing and reception support
-
Digital X-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory
-
Independent practice environment
